In 2009 I spent 9 months making a short film in partnership with Project Ability , a Glasgow based Visual Arts organisation. My film has achieved high critical acclaim, and was shown as part of the Disability Film Festival in the Glasgow Film Theatre . I was also nominated , and reached final 3 , for UK Based Flash Forward award in 2010.

I was commisioned to do a piece for BBC Scotland channel on issues faced by someone with a disability going out for a night out. 

Stuart Devlin, who has cerebral palsy, now carries a card to explain his condition after being refused entry because security staff assume he is drunk.

    • The shameful legacy of the former Lennox Castle Hospital.

      This video features Dates-n-Mates Glasgow member Hughie McIntyre who bravely tells his harrowing story of living for 16 years in the former institution "I didn't know why I was there, or what I did to deserve this. C-Change CEO Dr Sam Smith also features in this video. Sam was involved in the decommissioning process of the hospital closure and in helping residents establish what they needed to move on. This was indeed the very origin of C-Change.
