I was so disappointed that Scotland's last two Nations League matches weren't on TV but instead on You Tube, as Norwegian broadcaster Viaplay holds the rights to all the national team matches until 2028.
Last year they decided to cut back on UK football operation, meanwhile lots of fans are paying good money to watch the national team. The media group sold it's UK sporting division back to Premier Sports earlier this year, the transaction included it's share of the Scottish and league cups but didn't include the rights for the national team competition.
Viaplay sold the rights to Scotland's last double header against Portugal and Poland to ITV , but decided not to sell to another broadcaster for this round of games.
This will be a first for a Scotland match not to be on TV, as the last time a match wasn't available was a friendly against Poland in 2014.
All of the national games should be on free to air no matter what competition, at the moment the only way we get to see Scotland playing if we qualified for the Euros or World Cup.
Currently England games are on STV/ITV and Sky has an agreement that Wales matches can also be broadcast on welsh language channel S4C with welsh commentary.
So why not Scotland it's not right that fans from other nations can see the games on tv but we have to pay to watch, surely to encourage the next generation to play football , and maybe one day play for the national team.
How can they do this if they can't get to see their country playing, add into the mix the cost of living, this should of been sorted before the nation league started, not when the campaign is underway.
I don't know how that reflects on our national team, to not have a legitimate platform for viewing the nation's game.
The whole situation is a real mess, they need to sort it now, it's an imbalance of nations.
